One personal session weekly at my home studio costs $20 or $16 for regularly scheduled appointments with good standing. Check or other payment is to be made out to George DeFoe. Payment can be handed directly to me, or may be mailed to my home address. Payment may be made in advance, but must be made for lessons already received by the last day of each month.
If your child is ill or will not be in class or studio for their scheduled lesson, please call me A.S.A.P., so the absence can be an excused one. (I try to reschedule missed lessons.)

My name is George DeFoe, “retiree” from 27 years teaching experience at the university level, with earlier and current experience teaching in public and private schools. A Juilliard School of Music graduate, with a Masters degree from Columbia University Teachers College, a Doctorate had been begun at New York University before leaving that area. I have performed and taught in several different media professionally: all brass instruments; direction of band, orchestral and choral groups; vocal performance and instruction, including opera, oratorio, ‘Pops’.
